Does it mean the player is from Plymouth or a product of the academy .
When you say 'Plymouth' you mean 'Argyle Plymouth' which includes the whole of Devon and Cornwall (and bits of Somerset)??

(I'd include any player who has eaten a pasty and/or a cream tea, has swum in the sea off Devon/Cornwall and has been on the (now defunct 😥) train at Paignton Zoo.) COYGs!! OOOO!!!

From Plymouth and has come through the Academy.
So Adam Randell is but Mike Cooper isn’t.
Seem strange calling someone from Exeter, one of our own.

Could be coming through the academy- Jephs, Coops, Lawsy or players born & bred Plymothians or Janners ( An English person born within ten miles of the sea. (Britain, slang) Someone from Plymouth.) which is Rands

Any young player that comes through the Academy is one of our own - as Coops, Jephs, Lawsy & Rands have come through the Academy & are now 1st team players

About Pasoti

  • Created by David Gadd in 1996, we are one of the oldest UK football sites. The site is now owned by Ian Newell & Ian De-Lar. Our Site Designer is Adam. Pasoti is family friendly and prides itself in being an online community. Give it a try, perhaps you'll like it. We are 100% independent of Plymouth Argyle Football Club. We do though, donate money to the Argyle Academy on a regular basis!

If any member requires individual details of the Good Deeds Fund please contact either Ian Newell or Ian De-Lar, who will be only too happy to discuss the various causes that benefit.

Please note if you register and log in the adverts will be far far less obtrusive. Visit us on Twitter!
