Interesting article. The buildings did look excellent it’s only in the last 10 or 20 years they’ve started to look old and tired. I’m not sure if the answer is a complete deep cleaning effort or another visionary redevelopment but please not another Westfield!

Is anyone old enough to remember taking the Saltash ferry, we lived in Camels Head, so if we were going to Cornwall we would use the Saltash Ferry, remember taking it a few times.

Took the Saltash ferry loads of times - memories of the queue going back along Wolseley Road towards St. Budeaux. OG - did you go to Camels Head school like me?

I can’t ever remember going on the Saltash Ferry. I think I must have, but it obviously didn’t stick in my mind.

Here’s the best old one I’ve got of the Torpoint Ferry.

No i went to Stuart Road, my mother worked at Mount Gould, so on the way to work she dropped me off at my Grans who lived near Stuart Road and then she picked me up on the way home.
