Yeah right! Argyle will be happy to write off several million.I dont think he will be off for a long time...if at all.
I can see him being one of our longest serving players and developing as we progress up the leagues.

Like I say, I think he will be with us for a long timeIf he's as good as we all think, then he'd be wasting his career not moving significantly further up the ladder.
This is the trouble. People love talking about potential fees and, in theory. back the club's stated policy of cashing on players they have developed. Yet when it comes to it, they don't want key players to go, There is a danger of having your cake and wanting to eat it.I am not sure it is great news if Cooper is not moving on. I mean he is brilliant and on one level would love to see him stay on. But £10m could pay the wages and fees for an entire promotion winning team including a decent keeper at this level.
I really dont think we will have to worry about that. Nowadays, Cooper is a run of the mill keeper. There are many that have similar qualities throughout the lower leagues and to attract the big money move you have to have something special. Imo, he doesn't have that. This is the trouble. In a year's time, MC will be closer to the end of his contract, and that might mean the potential fee is significantly reduced. Another stellar season might well negate that drop or even enhance his value, but a less good season or an injury affected one could be catastrophic in terms of what might be offered. One of those welcoming on here the possibility of Cooper staying was adamant. in January 2021, that Luke Jephcott was at the time worth £4 million plus. Whilst that was bonkers, there is a strong argument in terms of selling whilst "the stock is high", and if Argyle have turned down a big offer for Cooper they might later regret doing so. It's a gamble.
So you have inside information to dismiss the "he's not going anywhere brigade"?Will be very amusing when you’re proved very wrong.

11 pages and we most probably haven't even had any interest or even a sniff of an enquiry. We football fans really are fantasists.
Don't tell me that Luton enquired him but decided on Matt Macey instead? This is incorrect.
Dewsnip disagrees with you or are you saying that you’re better informed than he is?This is incorrect.
I would not let people know if a big money deal was in the offering, prices and demands from others would suddenly increase.Dewsnip disagrees with you or are you saying that you’re better informed than he is?
