Having gone back and read the comments at the start of this thread, I wonder how many will come on here now and admit they may have been wrong

Too early for them to admit they was wrong

Just catching up on this thread. Certain posters are right that it can take 4 weeks and an in person application has to be made. Been like this for a number of years now, previously you could do a postal application to the Spanish embassy but they changed the rules to align with the Schengen members and an in person application is required. The last few times we had to do it for my wife, albeit, a number of years ago now, that in person application was her arriving at the embassy appointment, handing over the paperwork, a quick read through and and that's it. The visa was then usually sent through within a couple of weeks in her passport.

To add, you could also previously use an agent to do it on your behalf but again, this changed with the requirement of you attending in person. Previously a straightforward application turned into too much hassle for us for a 2 week holiday. Fortunately for us, the wife got her British passport a number of years ago.

Hmm not sure you can make comment on that 45 mins tbh. Yes he looked engaged, interested and happy. Yes he scored and had a fair bit of the ball. But........ the match was low key, half pace and as well as Parkway played they are not 2nd and 3rd tier professionals. So many have said how YouTube showed his talents in the Europa league. Yesterday was a country mile away from that.

Time and better opposition will tell.

I understand what you are saying . Yes, there is a long way to go but I was thinking more about comments like ā€œ league one is above him, we should bring him back and send him out to Torquayā€. Most reasonable people can see that there is a player there. Tom Cleverley just has to get that player to play

My thoughts attached if anyone cares! šŸ˜‚

PS - Yes I know it’s a tacky outlet, yes I know they’re full of shite, yes I know it’s click bait, but given all that, felt there’s no harm in giving my opinion when asked!!

Well first things first. He’s got to show us something, he has to step up when it counts and deliver something we can get behind. He didn’t when he played for Muslic. To say he was poor doesn’t even cover it. I hear he had a promising game on Saturday. It’s something that at least says he’s applying himself. If he does the business for us in the league this season everyone I mean everyone will say well done son and he’ll be a hero. So far he’s done nothing, not a thing. We all want him to come good and I don’t really see how or why anyone is arguing over this. He will or he won’t and 15000 Janners will be able to tell the tale.
