Sad times when you have to add a non racism disclaimer. I’ve read negative comments about him pretty much since the day he arrived and never once considered any of them racially motivated. He was just out of his depth. Disappointed he didn’t have the balls to stay and fight for the club L1 might have been his level.

I echo this - SS: there's absolutely no need to add the "no racial undertones" caveat. Nobody here would think that was an implication by you saying we need to offload him. That's a footballing fact, not a racial one.

In those circs, I am pretty sure we would reach a pay off compromise with him "contract cancelled by mutual consent" sort of deal.

Hopefully not, he'd still have 2 years left on his deal at high wages, a pay off won't be cheap and could really impact the budget for signings.

Financially, Argyle really need to get this bloke off the books.

I don't know why they sent him to Qatar. Couldn't we have sent him back to a Scandinavian league team, where he did well. Makes the option of buying much higher or getting a transfer somewhere else

I think you’ve misunderstood the recruitment process. He was highlighted by Jimmy Dickinson and the team and Baidoo said he wanted to work with Rooney. Rooney didn’t go and find him.
