Managerial ins and outs 25/26

As an 80 year old I say Yippee. I’m reminded of when he was appointed England manager. During the period leading to his selection a friend of mine was a maths and sports teacher, including the football team, at a well known West Country school. He found managing the team a bit of a trial. So, he wrote to the FA explaining that as he had a busy schedule ahead of him, would they please not place him on the short list for England manager, and they would they write and confirm that they had followed his request.

The FA, assuming he was a nutter but to maintain good PR duly wrote him a letter confirming he was not on the short list. Knowing what nosey buggers his class were, he casually left the letter on the corner of his desk. Within hours the whole school was talking about how he nearly made the short list for the England manager job. From that day the team listened with rapt attention to his every word, and followed his instructions to the letter!

Tottenham will consider turning to Sean Dycheto rescue the club from relegation if first-choiceRoberto De Zerbi is unavailable, according to The Telegraph.

I see Liam Manning has been granted compassionate leave of absence for the remaiinder of the season. He and his wife lost a newborn child in October 24. I first saw it on a FB page which indicated that several.posts had been taken down due to their tasteless and unsympathetic nature!
The impression is, Leam has a lot on his plate! This from Huddersfield fans. It's a difficult one, some/people, try to manage their problems in different ways. I wish him well. X

I’m thinking of going back into betting after predicting that Tudor and Ramsay wouldn’t make double figures at Spurs and WBA. I also predicted that Rosenior won’t make it past 2026. Not exactly the stuff of Nostradamus, I admit.

He will be lucky to make it past May. Should have stayed where he was.
