3 months is a life time for some chairmen/women. Just my opinion but I’d be interested in where they were when he was appointed.
Lampard apparently being considered to take over at Coventry - that’s one of the relegation places sorted then!
He did fine at Derby, and in his first season at Chelsea. Everton and the Chelsea return were dreadful spells, but neither club was in a great position at the time. At Coventry it would be a totally different scenario where they're stable off-field and have a fairly strong side already.
