Last year in the Prem was unusually tranquil wasn't it? Two of the three relegated teams kept faith with their manager. Off the top of my head only Sheffield United, Palace and Forest parted company with their managers due to bad results. The other changes all happened before the season started or after it finished.

I find it ridiculous that Parker is appointed as the Burnley boss when he was not considered good enough for Argyle by soooo many on here
It would have been ridiculous for us as the man is used to a bigger budget.
I'm not sure he's that good though, if I were a Burnley fan I wouldn't be happy with that appointment.

I would have been very disappointed if we’d appointed Parker.
His niche seems to be getting very well funded teams out of the Championship. Nice work if you can get it.
I'd be surprised if he makes it through an entire Premier League season if he gets promoted, though.
