Buzsaky was the least effective of the 4. Only occasional flashes of brilliance and didnt stay with Argyle for long.

I’m not sure it will make a difference in having more recent players. Twitter is especially youth-oriented, but people are generally going to go for players they’ve seen in the flesh, in any democratic vote. So there’s little chance of any pre-80s players.

I’d have just gone with honourable mentions at the club’s own discretion, for the second XI. It’s a nice idea being democratic, but it’s not going to end with a reflective all-time team. E.g. There’s going to be no Moses Russell/Bill Shortt/Sammy Black etc from the first half of the 20th century, which is a shame as this could be a great way to highlight Argyle history that people don’t know.

I am a nerd though, I fully admit.

Ok I see what happened. You touch a name on the front page of the app (without going into the actual article) and it selects that name as your pick.

It’s not very clear that’s what you’re meant to do though, or that you’ve made your pick, unless I’m being very very dim. It just puts these little crosses next to it, I didn’t meant to vote for Patterson here, I’d just accidentally touched that bit of the screen…
