I know that we have seen the application of some of the laws as applied at the World Cup, but here is a summary of them. It's worth reading through so that you can apply the correct rating on Rate the Ref!

Not going to make the ref's job any easier, looking after all this lot as well as reffing the game. Scope for a lot of inconsistency.

There’s a few time limits which are down to the referee’s discretion when the time starts.You can’t have a limit when the start point is unknown.
