This lad scored another hat trick last night.
Anyone seen him play much? He seems to be on fire.

Yea he came to my mind too, along with Paul AdcockOwen Pickard was one of many who scored for fun in the youth team
Then proved to be a little underwhelming. A lack of competition for our youth has been our main problemOwen Pickard was one of many who scored for fun in the youth team
Jephcott was going to be the next Tynan according to some/many.
Over the years we've had a few who have scored prolifically at youth level who haven't been able to translate such success to the adult game. It's a massive leap to the Championship. Whilst it's great that a youngster is doing so well, let's not clamour for promotion to the first team too quickly. Rooney, of all people, will know when he is ready for such an opportunity.
Stewart Yetton was possibly one of the most natural goal scorers we've ever produced and his family are Argyle daft. Went on to do silly numbers at semi pro level.Yea he came to my mind too, along with Paul Adcock
He joined in 1983, played for a couple of seasons including the FA cup semi final year but his wife couldn't settle and he moved to Rotherham in 1985.Had a bust up with the management there and came back for the final 10 games of the 85/86 promotion season. Rejoined permanently in 1986 and was a very prolific scorer over the next few seasons in some of the best years of the clubs comparatively recent history. Not really sure what happened to Jephcott, he seemed to bulk out quite a bit after his early days in the first team and possibly lost a vital bit of speed off the mark, rather a sad outcome for what was a very promising career.Tynan was before my time, but looking at wikipedia it seems he came into the argyle team mid season, helped us win promotion and then scored some vital goals to help establish the club in a higher league over the following seasons before leaving with good wishes on a free transfer.
Can't believe some people would put Jephcott in that kind of company
