Good listen. Thanks for posting.

"My club" made me smile and he obviously lives around Excretia somewhere

As an aside, I believe Saturday against Blackburn (if he plays tonight and Sat) will be his 200th league appearance for Argyle and his 231/232 appearances total (according to google, although google has him on 230 total and my math makes it 229 as of today).

Interesting podcast. Interesting to note that not only did Foster nearly cost us our Championship place he almost caused one of our best players to leave!

Went to the same school as my kids (although he’s 10 years older). Newent Community. He also played at FC Highnam, the local kids side. My son played for them too. They are really good little club and have also developed Naomi Layzell, now at Man City and in the Lionesses squad.

His parents and family are in farming including selling very good Christmas Trees! Nice people.

I think he is edge of Dartmoor somewhere like South Brent

He was in Exeter but he's recently moved. The family are reconfiguring their arrangements so Joe's wife can get more family support with the kids and who can blame them.

It's not often something us football fans think about but it must be tough for the wives and girlfriends without a family network around to support them. I know being a footballer is a cushy job but it's pretty full-on for 10 months of the year.
