No doubt a comment will be made we have signed another sick note player due to his injury record at his previous club

The player will be absolutely gutted but we have cover until is purposed return date

Injury is part & parcel of the game- whether it being in training or playing a match

But unfortunately some people will not see it like that & slate the player before he has even played a game

It was a training ground injury. These things happen. Shame for the lad because he’s a decent player. As Lowry says tho it’ll be like a new signing in 3 months time.

I wouldn't rush to make a defensive loan signing to cover for a relatively short term injury

Injuries are hard to assess. He could be back sooner or later than October.

Bear in mind too that there are a lot of games played in the period August-October and therefore a lot of important points to pick up. A loan signing until January would be sensible- and Lowe could get a player better than we currently have in the squad, the loanee needn't be a bench warmer. Zac Vyner was fantasic a few years ago so a player like that on a short-term loan would be great.
