Interviewing Managers at HT

I think we’ve just heard the first one with Patrick Vieira interviewed Vs Arsenal.

I’m really not a fan.

I’d like to see Roy Keane get back into management because I’m sure he’d tell someone holding a microphone to his face at half time exactly where to go.

They do that over here, just with the home manager, it's basically 2 or 3 questions.
1. How do you think the first half went?
2. What will you have to do in 2nd half?
3. Can we expect lots of changes in 2nd half?
Answers
1. Good or bad
2. Do the same as first half, or be better than first half.
3. Maybe or maybe not.
All over in 1 or 2 mins.

Another American import. They do it all the time in American Football, and baseball is even worse as they interview managers and players whilst the game is going on.

If I remember correctly, I swear years ago, back in the days of Setanta Sports, they tried doing this when they showed an FA Cup game between a league and non-league side.

The non-league manager was obviously not wanting to be interviewed as the game was happening, and he gave short answers, obviously wasn’t impressed.
