It IS confusing mate. But it (sort of) makes sense.

By the way ANYONE coming into the Vaccination Centre who is immune suppressed, they should shout it from the rooftops as you get to the security gate at the top (by the shop) you should be shown in via the side part of the marquee and you will be pushed through without queuing anywhere. But you must have your Doctor's letter confirming you have immune issues.

Booster jabs to be available to all over 18’s and the gap between the second jab and booster jab will be cut to 3 months.

Have they announced when this will take affect? Is it immediate or from tomorrow?

Can anyone confirm that the walk-in jabs on Thursday will definitely be Pfizer as per the schedule?
The risk profiles of the various jabs are different and I know someone who wants to reduce their risk of suffering/exacerbating pericarditis (which has a significantly higher prevalence after Moderna than Pfizer) [it's also a lower risk with AZ but then the Covid protection from a booster does of AZ is pretty minimal if you had 2 x AZ in the first place so that's not an attractive option either].

I’m sure this has already been answered, but does the booster need to be the same type as the original two?

No, I had the AstraZeneca for my first two, then when I had my booster I had the Pfizer jab

There is no AZ booster available.

As for your medical questions Doc, you'll have to ask medically trained staff those sort of things.

There were 781 walk ins today, haven't got the other figures yet.

Amazing number of people turned up.

2161 vaccinations today. Many knackered people there tonight, a lot of volunteers are feeling the pace these days.

As volunteers drop away the ones left have to pick up more shifts.

Anyone fancy it?
