No jabs being done today?

Opens for Moderna at 11:00, some sort of (jabs) staff presentation going on first

Ok, Pogles. I’ve noted in my diary.

Thanks for your punderstanding davie.

it's not easy keeping up with demand!
I was asked for an input about strawberries at Wimbledon but had to admit that I couldn't pun it. :coat:

Quite a milestone this week.

200,000 people have now been vaccinated through those flaps.

That's 200,000 people that are VERY unlikely to die of Covid 19. I'm very proud to be a part of that, as I know Martyn and Leslie are as well.

Was working this afternoon, and it was announced that we passed 200,000 jabs. Music started, and the NHS workers started some sort of dancing, it was a great scene for a few mins, to the sounds of ‘sweet caroline’.

Yes, I am very proud, please, please get your jabs

I apologise if this is been mentioned (probably has just the 200) times) but I desperately need my second MODERNA jab before the end of the month due to going on deployment.

Can I go up at HP late at night as a walk in? The NHS won’t give me a slot before August 9th but unfortunately that’s no good for myself.

Any help will be massively appreciated!

As Cheshiregreen says, depends on when you had your first jab, must be at least 8 weeks after your first.

If this is an armed service deployment then I would expect your MO to sort that out for you.

Good luck, wherever you are going.

Thanks for your help guys.

I’ve been told I can have my second jab 28 days after my first? Is this not the case then?

Unfortunately as I’m working in Cornwall apparently NHS Cornwall doesn’t have any Moderna doses.

I’ll try and visit HP on Monday evening and see if I can get squeezed in.

Thanks again for the replies!

Only with a Drs note Carlo.

I've tried to get a few in a few times but the clinicians say 'no it has to be eight weeks' 95% of the time.
