Heard the self same rumour but decided against posting it as that's maybe all it is.
Checked with someone who's usually bang on though and he's heard it as well.

If that's evidence of SH requiring changes it's welcome. Some new input is desirable on the bench as well as on the pitch.
If true, he talked a good game but actions didn't match the words.
Wow. If true, seems odd as he is Rooney's man, the only coach he brought with him.
He should never have been appointed in the first place. Rooney's most promising job in management was at Derby (no Shuttleworth), followed by a hugely underwhelming spell at DC United (with Shuttleworth) and then the disaster at Birmingham (with Shuttleworth).
To think we could have had an experienced, top-class coach in Mike Phelan too.
If this rumour is true then I'm guessing Rooney has been 'advised' to bring in a more experienced coach and Shuttleworth has been deemed surplus to requirements. Either that or he's taken against the idea and quit.

Obviously don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, and it gives us scope for an experienced no.2 to come in, but I always thought he came across well and seemed like a decent chap.
His name isn't on the staff list on the club website.
