I play a lot of GT7, with some Assassins Creed thrown in. As I use the PSVR2, I’ve just discovered No Man’s Sky. Looking forward to GTA6 👍

Husband has all the Assassin Creed apparently the best Etseo Atroray series, excuse my spellinh. He Loves them. Far to advanced for me. I struggle with the PS5. But can quite happily pay a PS2 all day. Yeah, GTA is going to be a gaming phenomenon

Hopefully the bugs will be dealt with, or significantly reduced before release day. They've got a cheek charging £40 for an unfinished game.
If the UI turns out to be better than before, but with a learning curve then fine. They best fix the spacebar otherwise cycling through the messages will be a real chore..
Did you pick up FM26 in the end?

I didn't pick up FM26, I was never seriously tempted. The negative reviews on steam indicate it's a very poor game.
As I've wrote extensively on this thread I don't enjoy modern FM compared to for example FM12, FM15 or FM17.
How are you finding it so far?

FM26 pc-version being on Xbox Game pass, I decided to give it a go. A patch/update went out the other day so my experience is with that installed. I have to say it's been perfectly playable and enjoyable. Perhaps the patch has fixed a lot of issues. Granted, in true FM style I spent the majority of the time so far doing the initial getting to know the club (Oxford City) and have only played one match. Still, I have only noticed one or two very minor UI glitches, if indeed that's what they were. There may well be UI/info features missing from FM24 that people wanted carried over, but as I say, it's perfectly playable so far.

Incidentally, on my save Argyle fired Cleverley in October!

I got FM26 (touch) on the iPad as I don't own a laptop/PC but it's a bit disappointing tbh. There's no youth teams, which is a major part of what I enjoy about the previous games - bringing up youth players through into the 1st team. I'm finding the UI a bit clunky too, unfortunately on the iPad version you can't play previous versions of the game either, so I'm stuck with FM26.

The women's version is a good addition, but unfortunately you can't play Argyle on there as only the top 2 English leagues are playable.

There's an U18 team on the pc version, although again I haven't been able to explore it properly. Seems to include fixtures though so I expect it's fully functional. Might have been withdrawn from Touch?

This is the first time I've ever skipped an edition (at least since the CM2 days). They really seem to have dropped the ball with this one, which is particularly disappointing given that FM25 was cancelled altogether.

Yeah, agreed. They’ve had 2 years to improve it but they actually made it worse. I get that the iPad version can’t be the full game but no youth teams has taken a lot of the fun out of it for me.

A game called Grand Pro Circuit has just released a trailer. Seems to be based very heavily on 1980s Formula One (complete with excellent fake sponsors and logos), and inspired by the brilliant F1 games of the 1990s by Geoff Crammond. Seems to have very undemanding spec requirements too, almost any laptop from the last few years will run it well. Looks like a huge amount of fun and right up my alley.

Looks like a fun game rather than a simulation. Not that I’m saying that a racing game needs to be a simulation to be good, one thing that gets on my goat is people moaning that GT7 isn’t real enough to be a simulation, but I don’t care, with a wheel and VR it’s real enough for me.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for that one. 👍

100% agreed, I hate gaming gatekeepers that do that. You can guarantee these people would be 15 seconds off the pace if they had to drive in real life because they wouldn't be physically up to it. GT games have never claimed to be hardcore sims like iRacing or whatever but they're still brilliant games. It's like FIFA nuts who couldn't kick a ball straight if their life depended on it.

The new Forza Horizon set in Japan looks good too, by the way.
