It’s not necessarily the system that has been the problem, it is the quality of the players implementing it.
Back 3 (Scarr, Wilson, Galloway/Gillesphie), midfield (Houghton, Broom), enabling those already here, Cooper, Edwards, Grant, Camara, Hardie, Jephcott to perform more effectively and efficiently.

I have. For me personally if you are going to play this system you need players that fit this system.
Look at Broom for example compared to Mayor in midfield. You got all round midfielder, not a winger, now in there and we look better for it.
The other reason is the wing back positions. You need to find specialist players with a very unique skill set to play those positions. I look at Argyle currently and sometimes feel our weakest area in the team, in an attacking sense, is not having natural width. I look at Doncaster on Saturday. Their left wide player Hiwula was terrific and something l feel we currently don’t have. We have Broom. He is fantastic. Yes he gets wide at times. Yet he has to also hold his more central position. The system we play our width players are Grant and Edwards as attacking wide players l don’t think they scare too many full backs of the opposition. What is it they lack. Pace. The one thing that scares defenders when one on one.
