Gateshead are improving somewhat. Narrow defeats in their last two games as opposed to the pummelling’s they were taking previously. This is all good experience for Issaka. An assist yesterday and hopefully he keeps his starting place. Definitely shouldn’t be recalled.

Agree- however I might look to get him involved in the Newport game if the travel works . With Oseni injured , Watts will presumably play up front , with maybe Amaechi as the number 10 ? Issaka could then play on the right .

Gateshead have just sacked Cattermole. Hopefully whoever replaces him can start winning games for them and that they see Freddie as a part of that.

Or, he reinstates 'the bomb squad', has more players at his disposal so decides he doesn't need Freddie at all

Normally loan players continue to be paid by their parent clubs - so hopefully he is okay
