That's my fear as well. His 'why do I bother' comment on Twitter the other day really shook me. We have some knobhead fans and he WILL come in for criticism at some stage and they will show their displeasure in a way that most decent people won't agree with.
My concern from his comment the other day is here is a man totally invested in his vision. I totally understand he has an opinion that comes from a great background of business. So he has the experience to fall back on. Yet l also believe a football fan is a customer and has a right to provide any constructive criticism.
However, what really concerns me is the on field stuff. He is a fan. He is emotional invested with Ryan Lowe. If things go similar to last season and the fans get on his back if they loose faith in Lowe, how will he react? Thatās my worry. Especially if he choose to carry on supporting Lowe but the fanbase loose the faith. You might say but the majority are behind Lowe. Thatās true. However, the majority were behind Adams but patience just snapped like a tidal wave.
l hope if Lowe proves to be unsuccessful that Simon Hallett wonāt be upset by the criticism that will come the clubs way if Lowe keeps choosing to ignore ongoing on field issues with his system and style of play.
