"Concacaf, which governs football in North and Central America and hosted this year's World Cup, said its 41 member associations have "rejected" the proposal made by Fifa president Gianni Infantino, after it met on Thursday.

"Sources say the Concacaf nations are also losing faith in Infantino."

Worst case we play the Euros every two years, not four. It'll hit his TV revenue model massively if all of Europe are watching their own competition at the very same time.
I think we should go back to the Home Internationals. England have a chance of winning. Then again...

Obviously on a different planet when saying "nobody selling football"- notice the words "working man & soul" isn't even mentioned

They don't seem to grasp what football means to it's fans - it is all about chasing the money & getting even richer

“ He would say that , wouldn’t he “ I wouldn’t take any notice of what he says , Infantino knows he would make even more money if his plans go through , I still think we haven’t seen the real structure yet , the initial announcement was to frighten the football world , he will come back with a compromise proposal that looks easier to swallow and will end the same way , him and his allies getting richer , football and its fans getting poorer.

I can see Africa and Asia backing his plans due to the amount of money they'll get and how greatly they'll benefit from the expanded world cup plans. Anyone heard what South America (CONMEBOL??) are saying?

If FIFA wanted to develop th3 game to up and coming football nations like Curacao and Cape Verde, then why don’t they use the mon3y they made from the World Cup, ( I mean that is there job), I believe they made a substantial profit from the recent World Cup, in the billions ?.

I am sure FIFA aren’t short of a bob or two.

That’s what the money they make is meant to go towards for all developments etc

Precisely, I am sure there is enough money, in their Bank account, so why do they need, private money.

Sounds like pure greed., and some members of FIFA making a lot of money.

I could be wrong bit I heard a rumour that they made about 10 billion profit from the World Cup, but could be ‘way out’.
