Just watched the recording. Another great event that, should it be needed, reassures everyone that we are in a great place off the pitch.
Three points that I found interesting that haven't been touched upon in the thread (apologies if I missed it):
I thought AP's answer to the question about the corners was intriguing. Very much along the normal party line that there needs to be a good business case for it, but to me seemed a little more open to the idea than previously. It's not one of my particular bugbears, but good to know that everything is on the table (including safe standing).
I also noticed that AP said we have a "competitive" budget. None of the pleading poverty that we've (rightly) heard in recent seasons. And also the emphasis that just because the money is there doesn't mean it will be spent, we are waiting for the right player. Good.
Finally Simon's point that a mission is not a plan. We have an aim to be an established top half Championship team in the next (now) four years, but we'll need a few things to fall into place before that can happen. Patience will be required, even if it is in short supply these days.
It will be interesting to see how all this translates on the pitch. WR talks a good game, but there's definitely work to do both in terms of incomings/outgoings in the coming weeks, and getting performances and results. Understandably they couldn't talk more about the former, and the question about transparency was embarrassing.
I feel more optimistic about things than I did before watching.
