I actually wish Simon was not always as transparent, think he says way too much at times. Cleverley sometimes as well, though he is much better at vague answers than a year ago.

And they should all be saying absolutely nothing about the budget until the window closes.

I suspect the women's team actually was a pretty small percentage of losses, was just much easier to cut as the uproar would be much less (or would have been if they had handled it a bit better),

I tend to agree but don't think they'll get away with zero finance questions. It's fair enough to ask whether we are operating on a break even basis and the impact of the Tolaj sale . In April we were told we had a similar player budget ( to £10m) which didn't anticipate any player sales and that if players were sold the budget would increase . Whether that was believed is a different matter , but its a fair question to ask . In some ways we might already know the answer because there will be 3 tom Cleverley press conferences before the forum and if Evans is signed he'll probably be asked questions re further squad strengthening.

I didnt care much about the guys who asked questions about booking fees on tickets.
Or those that had been moved cos a sky camera had been placed in their seat.

You dont have to care about everything.

Fan Forums are all about the fanbase having the ability to question the club about how they are running the club.

The Women's team is now the clubs responsibility and I see no reason why there should not be questions about them at the forum, just as there will be questions about the mens team, the finances, the club shop, or any other aspect of the club.

That says 2026 fans forum indicating it’s one a year. Anyway, my point is very few do it the way we do.

Are you not using your ten-year-old experience to make a point? Under new ownership, these forums seem to be well attended and include questions about the women's team - suggesting a healthy interest in both.

However, with regard to the women's team, what I don't want to see is 15 or 20 valuable minutes of the forum wasted raking over old coals as to what happened to the team at the end of last season. It's been done, let's move on and concentrate on asking questions with regard to the club's operations going forward.

With that mindset when the next forum (after this one) comes along dont waste 15-20 minutes about the men's game for anything that's already gone

Goodness... apply this logic to all the time wasted by people asking questions that have already been answered then.
Or moaning that Tolaj was sold.
Or that we didnt buy player x.
Or that we dont like the shirt.

Is anyone else nervous having this right before the first league game?

There is a feel good factor after Exeter but there is still a lot of anger towards the club about recent communications. I worry this will turn sour and affect the atmosphere against Stockport.

Not so much that, but having it before the transfer window ends seems a little unwise. Feels like any details of budgets which get disclosed will not help in transfer negotiations.

I guess the date is determined by when Simon is in the UK.
