Once a red always a red I suppose.

Seems fair what Brum have done. No doubt requested by JS as well.

Seems they’re more lucky than smart.

If the past is anything to go by, they’ll squander any decent income and be back in trouble down the line.

Their fans will take sugar lumps up to feed the police horses.

Bless.

Knowing they way our respective seasons have gone and given that we played there last season they will probably go and beat them just to pee us off ! :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though it does show quickly fortunes can change. Only a couple of weeks ago there was some question of whether they could finish this season. Now they have had some of the JS transfer fee and a bumper draw which will you assume cover them for the rest of this season and next.

I find it a shame that when I moved here 43 years ago City was a club of so little consequence to us that they were held in the same regard as Torquay, local but of little interest. The following year they played us in the league under Gerry Francis, a game that excited absolutely no interest, before going back down to their normal place in the fourth tier. Now, sadly, we treat them as proper rivals. What a pity.

Even 20 years ago Exeter were the handy club down the road to loan some our younsters to, to get League 2 experience. Sometimes we'd poach some of their best players like Jaime Mackie or our players would move there when winding down their career like Sean McCarthy. It'd be nice if things were like that again.

Perhaps they could use some to finish the Jay Stansfield stand??

Seriously, I hope they survive. However if they slip below is in the League I would be happy

Don’t you mean the Adam Stansfield stand?

I don’t think they can extend it due to the railway track behind it but I could be wrong

You're not wrong, that bit belongs to someone else (GRW I think).
