I'm not surprised at all that we are about to sell out the first match of the season in the cup against our closest rivals under the lights at HP.
Baffling that some are tbh!
Anyway - I think we should play our strongest possible 11. A win against them will really whet the appetite for Stockport and give the confidence a massive boost, for both the fans and players.

It’s good that lots of non season ticket holding fans have been given the opportunity to go to this one. Derby tickets can normally be tricky to come by, especially if you want to avoid sitting in the Barn Park End. Hopefully a few younger fans, who haven’t been to many Argyle games before, get hooked for life.

These tickets sale show that we could easily sell 20,000 (with an increased away allocation) for a league game.

Agreed - and the flip side is that (God forbid!) a defeat would be such a massive downer for fans and players it might well impact the start to the season especially with it being a tough looking bunch of games right from the off...... and I'm not sure I can hack another bloody start like last season.
Anyway, best not to think about that .... A good win under the lights against THEM with a near full-house will be exactly what we want to start the new season and welcome the new recruits.
I see four rows of tickets have magically appeared in Block 18 as well as some seats in the Mayflower. I’ve no idea why the club does that, why not just have them on sale from the start?

There will have been people trying to sit together who could only see singles and either booked to sit apart or who have now planned on not attending
Hmmm. Remember, a lot of the Sixtoes will have paper rounds to get back for so probably won’t be hanging about after the game.
