What's that new logo about? I don't understand it at all. Half of the shield shape from the club badge, the part of the badge that has the least connection with, or significance to, Argyle, and Plymouth in general. It looks like part of the logo is missing. It's very odd and it's hard to imagine that someone actually sat down and designed that, let alone got paid to do so, s as I'd even harder to imagine that anyone voted in favour of it.

lets be honest the logo vote really is just a waste of time. that wouldve taken half an hour to knock up.

things always seem to need "rebranding" when there is often nothing wrong with the original. I mean who cares about the evergreen logo?

I cancelled my subscription last summer after getting a Season Ticket because I no longer understood what I was getting for my 18 quid a month. I never won any prizes, nor did I get invited to any events, nor did I receive a shirt. It's probably quite a nice thing for exile's to sign up to so that they still feel like they're connected to the club, but for ST Holders there's no real value.

Been saying this since it came out. I really don't understand it.Apart from people with additional spare income wanting to help the club. But that can be done through Sponsorship.

But sponsorship is no doubt a lot more expensive then having a Evergreen membership

I’ve always thought Evergreen was an extremely inefficient way of trying to raise money for Argyle. When you consider the administration costs of running it and the loss of income to Argyle through discounts and other freebies you do wonder how many members were needed to break even and what the net income that was actually achieved.

So what are your alternatives. The easy bit is to identify problems. What would be your solution?

As I stated I don’t see how the current scheme can raise very much money when all the discounts and admin are taken into account. My solution would be to raise the monthly charges.
I suggest to the levels that AberDNA memberships are. Their scheme is extremely successful, their fanbase is the same size as ours and they also have a lot of exiles.

Ain’t Evergreen dropping the cost because fans have moaned about the pricing? Can you imagine the uproar if they did up the monthly payment?

Aberdeen charges more but other different benefits like for example a ticket for hospitality and also the membership is free for certain age group, so they have got to offset the losses on that
