We've found it much cheaper and more reliable all over Europe in recent years.

Yes, for commuting shorter and medium distances. It only really excludes long distance high speed trains. 30 euros if you are under 26.

I do Madrid to Zaragoza a few times a year. Costs about &0 quid return takes just under 3 hours and before a recent fatal train crash in southern Spain reaches 300 kph.
