Great counter attacking from Bairstow and Stokes, they just need to keep going. The win is still on.

This is incredible. It's basically now a one day game which suits Bairstow.

It was free entry at Trent Bridge today which is fantastic given that anyone who turned up is getting to enjoy a full day of top class sport for nothing.

Almost wish I had jumped onto the first train up to Nottingham this morning and bunked off work!

I’m intrigued to see how we play this now.

It was a great performance on a flat batting wicket. Yet what happens on a pitch that offers something for the bowlers.

Personally, Joe Root proves to me you still need good technical ability in test cricket and lm not these other batsman will stand up to the test on bowler friendly wickets.

That aside. was a great game and the two teams showed a good positive mentality although New Zealand losing their bowler Jamieson certainly hindered them.
