Enjoyed that. AJ got battered, but thought he had Dubois, rattled him, moved in for the kill and walked onto a right. Game over.

I’m surprised the ref let it go on for that long considering how many times AJ got floored. Wonder what will be next for AJ, surely he will have to be thinking about hanging up the gloves.

Dubois needed to legitimise his standing as a World HW Champion tonight and he certainly did that. Stunning performance. He’s pretty useless behind a microphone, but he’s fun to watch in the ring.

I’d like to see Dubois Vs Joseph Parker next. Both are in great form. The winner to take on the winner of Usyk/Fury.

As for Joshua, he’s been great for British boxing but he needs to hang up his gloves. He isn’t going to become a three time Champion. His performance tonight was actually pretty embarrassing in view of the “hard man” image that he tried to put on at the round table face off with Dubois a few weeks ago.

Joshua had no defence. Pretty poor by him.

Both should retire but I think we could now see Wilder Vs Joshua, a retirement payday for both.

I hope not, it'd be a pointless fight. Dubois v the winner of Fury/Usyk next although AJ has a rematch clause and Dubois might otherwise have to fight a mandatory challenger first.

Heard after the fight that yes there is a rematch clause but Dubois has got the final say if it happens or not

I doubt it. Wouldn't be much of a rematch clause would it.

Not really but a boxing pundit mentioned it So who knows where they stand on a rematch

Can't see that happening. Wilder is well down the pecking order now, and looks like he's lost his desire.

So is Joshua though, he hasn’t beaten anyone of note since 2020.

Neither are top 5 HW’s anymore.

Pointless yep, but so were the Haye/Bellew fights, which did huge numbers and sent both into retirement with a big wad of cash.

No they're entirely different. Neither fighter was spent, it was an all British fight and Bellew was a huge underdog.

Wilder is a shadow of the fearsome fighter he was 5 years ago. Rocky Balboa had more defence than AJ last night. It'd be a sad occasion in my opinion.

I’m not saying I want to see it, I don’t, but from the fighters and the promoters POV, there isn’t a higher payday out there for either of them.
