They left a rugby club in £30 Million in debt before trying to take over the football club. They're not fit and proper to run any business. Same goes for the likes of Risdale and Bates.

Again, predicting the future.

They already owned Morecambe (bought in 2018) when they took over Worcester Warriors later the same year.

If that's the case then, again, there were no flags at the time they bought the club

I'm not defending them, or the test at all, just that the facts in this case don't prove the test rubbish, just shows how hard it is to predict the future and how impossible it is to take a club away from an owner once they're found out.

People keep bemoaning the test.

The problem is the test is only taken at point of acquisition of the club.

At that stage they passed the test.

The test cannot determine how useless they'll become in a few years.

That will change with the new regulator all being well. It will be regularly assessed so it won’t take as long to sanction bad owners
