Thought it would be worth starting a thread about the current Championship season.

I hope Millwall do it. They’re punching relative to their budget and they deserve it. The Premier League needs something different and Millwall would certainly be different. Also amusing that they’re managed by Alex Neil, who I’ve seen countless Argyle fans say isn’t good enough for us whenever we’ve had a vacancy.

Not looking forward to the vomit inducing amount of coverage that Wrexham will receive if they remain in the Play Offs, even worse if they win them.

At the other end. It’s pretty wild to think that West Brom could come down, or Leicester, or even both. For our sake, I’d prefer for both of them to stay up with Oxford and Blackburn or Portsmouth coming down.

Milwall. Scum club. Scummier fans. Should be in the scummiest league. Premier League would suit them.

West Brom and Leicester going down would be great for L1. Can guarantee big gates for all of their away games and that'll put a bit of money into the smaller clubs.

I'd rather West Brom, Pompey and Leicester come down, all are decent away days. Oxford have the worst stadium in the entire 92 and it feels like I've done the trip about 10 times now, they can stay up

Leicester and WBA would almost certainly take two of the top six spots though. We’ve got a much better chance of competing with the likes of Oxford and Portsmouth.

From an away day perspective and filling up the Barn Park End that would be great news. For Argyle trying to get promoted out of League 1 then I'd be hoping for weaker opposition.

I don't think we will be competing next season. I think our financial situation is much worse than we think.

Yep, I said on another thread that we might need to temper our expectations as I doubt we’ll have a top six budget. But I doubt that Lincoln have a top six budget. We also didn’t have a top six budget when we won the title. So it is possible and therefore I’d rather we didn’t have Leicester and WBA to contend with.

I hope Millwall go up too. Put my first ever bet at a bookie’s on Millwall to get promoted (or more accurately the no longer a teenager did on my behalf).

Wrexham unfortunately are the media darlings of everyone because of who owns them- (it is like the media are starstruck)
It makes me chuckle when they lose- if they weren't owed by the Hollywood Circus they would barely get airtime

Leicester are shot financially. They’ll have their crowds but they’ve already spent next season’s parachute money . It costs over £10M a year just to maintain and run their training complex and the hotel and golf course they built for the exclusive use of their players .
