Probably one of the reasons why he enjoyed being down here. Well, in the early days anyway. He loves being a big fish in a small pond.
Does mean he won’t have to move house, as it is only an hour commute. That's a shame. Oh well.

Graham Carey set to return to Scotland with St Johnstone after exit from CSKA Sofia
FORMER St Mirren and Ross County midfielder Graham Carey is set to return to Scotland with St Johnstone.www.thenational.scot
I'd also have thought its a big, big wage drop right. Sure he is 33 I appreciate so its never going to be his highest grossing contract but i'd have thought St Johnstone would have less wage budget than most larger league one clubs ?Most moves to Scotland are an admission that a player is giving up.
Would he be out of his depth? What about that fish-like lad in goal?
Agree. Never go back.I'd also have thought its a big, big wage drop right. Sure he is 33 I appreciate so its never going to be his highest grossing contract but i'd have thought St Johnstone would have less wage budget than most larger league one clubs ?
Not a debate around why he didnt come back, it was never going to happen, more just a point around economics.
