I lost count. Just how many did Doncaster manage to pick up in the end ?
It looked like the ref might have given the keeper a second yellow after the
final whistle.

We need to curb all these yellows - this could bring a lot of suspensions later in the season…

Yep, you’re right. However, it’s tricky to avoid yellow cards when they’re being dished out for having your shirt pulled.

Five yellow cards is a one game ban until the amnesty which starts on game 20 (v Wigan in November), after that it's 10 yellow cards for a ban.

Houghton is closest to a one game ban with 3 yellows. Cooper, Edwards and Galloway have 2 yellows.

10 yellows in total according to GoS. 6 to them, 4 to us.
I'm always guided by the PAFC site, but check the Beeb and others too. The Beeb and others get theirs from the Press Association rep. (I think), which only has 5 for Donny, but I assume the club has got it right.

I think that many yellows was inevitable, given Rovers very intense pressing game, plus tackling like terriers. All credit to them it was a good plan that nearly worked, and if I was a supporter I would have been pleased with that performance. Last year that team would have rolled us over, but the yellow card count shows our response.

Is that three he's got now? How many more before he risks being banned for a game or two?
See Posty's post further up the thread.
