And his crossing / heading / tackling
He was no tackler or header but his creative ability was rather underrated by many Argyle supporters imho and i think this is rather a surprising decision bearing in mind that CW did very well in the period he was with the club during the championship winning season. But i suppose if he doesn't fit the requirements of the manager then best to move on-good luck to him, always came across as a likeable sort of bloke and it'll be interesting to see how he gets on under Lowe.

Struggling a bit with the logic of two 10s out on loan? If these guys are surplus to a League 1 playoff push why loan them out? Baidoo a bit of a circumstantial case perhaps, but then thought that outcome would make a sale more important for C.Wright or Al-Hajj (if deemed surplus).

Combined with Ogbeta loan it puts some extra weight on the quality of the replacements - clearly Wright and Ogbeta struggled in the Champ, but Barnsley and Wigan are quite happy to take em on in L1. It's not like we've been signing established L1 promotion pushing stalwarts is it?

Bit odd in that sense, loan out potentially decent L1 players to be replaced by...potentially decent L1 players. Let's see I suppose. I'm a bit...bemused by our window at this stage. I'd like to see some moderate splashing of the cash on two fully fledged L1 "stars".

Also, personally think Cal would've been great in League 1. There was a certain level of speed and power required for him to pull of his "moves" in the Champ, and he didn't have it. But you could see he's a clever footballer, and technically decent. Put him around defenders with similar athleticism to him and he'll be great IMO.

Good luck to him. Wish him well but about as threatening as a hamster. He’s proven he’s not good enough for championship football and that’s what we’re building for so time for someone else to get a chance.

Great work!
Exactly,we need to do what Ipswich did when they were in league 1 with us, building for the division above, and it worked, twice.

Haven't seen much evidence so far of Argyle investing as much in the team as Ipswich did to build for the division above but Fox stated in his interview that there's more to come so we can but hope.

I wonder if Ryan Lowe asked Schumacher for the low down on Wright?

Good luck Callum, and thanks for the late winner at Shrewsbury.
That is almost the sum total of his contribution, although don't forget he crossed for Edwards to score against Hull! . That's it, think of any other worthwhile telling contributions in 3 years??. No me neither, best of luck though with Wigan. Move on now and get someone in a bit more vital to the team.

I dont like any of this tbh.

Good luck Cal and thank you. Once a green always a green

We are not Ipswich or Birmingham.

We will not be signing Championship quality players to get out of League 1, we don't have anything like the budgets those 2 clubs had.

Let's get back in the Championship first. We can worry about who can play at level when it happens.
