I support Rooney with his public dressing down. The team were a disgrace on Tuesday and deserve to know it. They are professional footballers who should be privileged to play for the club not amble around like a bunch of amateurs. It can hardly get any worse.

My concern then is that confidence is going to be low for Oxford - an absolute must win game.

The reaction of the players will be a massive indicator of how this season pans out, including WR future.

I don't believe he has lost the team, win, lose or draw, as long as there is fighting spirit - within sensible limits, no QPR revisit - we can get through this.

Calls for experience, believe we should be a hell of lot more pragmatic (4-5-1), get a foot in the game and slowly build. Older heads Houghton, Forshaw to play with Randell, shut out the massive MC gaps and stifle the game.

I voted with my feet for Norwich away and went to Weymouth v Truro City groundhopping instead.

After last seasons embarrassment at Bristol City, when I ended up with a last minute ticket, I haven't bothered with the returned tickets this year
