Yep, shirts get selected crazy early. We're only three or four months away from having to place the order for next seasons shirts. It wasn’t, that’s a common misconception.
The shirt (green & gold) would have been chosen in the October, but we didn’t win the league that season until the following May.
We just happened to win the the league so people assumed that it was chosen because of this, when in fact, it was chosen months earlier
Therefore for evening games, it should be lighter shirts. The purpose of the away kit (other than a very occasional clash) is to extract double the money from the fan base.
Also haven't we learnt our Tuesday night lessons about difficult to see colours?
I used to like the majority of your posts X Isle. I was even concerned about your whereabouts when you went missing a while back. Are you speaking to us on a delayed line from the 1950's tonight?
You don't know what a grower & a shower means.
You don't know what gopping means.
You want us handcuffed to one shirt and one shirt only, for all occasions.
Well speaking as you are from a grey and depressing post war Britain I'm afraid you don't get to decide 21st century worthiness old pal. Where you're calling in from the Suez Crisis hasn't even happened yet, let alone the moon landings... oops, sorry to spoil that for you
Times have changed, get with them or hang up the call and go back to your 50's life.
Is it black ? Looks more like dark grey in the video.
I believe the EFL mandates a minimum number of times the away kit and the third kits must be worn.I like the new “second shirt” and I tend to buy one. However, I still feel we should wear our famous green shirt whenever it’s possible without clashing.

In that case , why on earth was it chosen in the first place. Not Green Black or White is it.It wasn’t, that’s a common misconception.

I assume it’s to encourage sales of the appropriate replica kits.Reallynever heard of that before. Why would they implement such a rule ???
That was my understanding too Baz.I thought the gold was used as a celebration? What are we celebrating a new squad?
