Avatar/Emoji problems NOW FIXED.

Yep, it’s very random but we are working on it, it’s weird.

I only checked with the programmers yesterday and they are still working on it.

Only a small percentage are afflicted by it. You unfortunately are one of them.

I might be able to put you forward for a change, say and Argyle crest. But should you see it, do NOT change it, as you will end up with the jungle 3rd kit again!

Yes mine has changed all by itself as well. That’s twice it has changed.

Whilst I was trying to sort the problem I tried a few variations.

I’d not change them yourselves yet until the programmers tell me it’s clear.

90% of the users on this site aren’t suffering what we are. Avataritus!

I tried, well over a month ago, to change mine. (Ian knows I have the problem too). It kept saying no file uploaded, but after a few attempts the change page started showing my current animation. But the main fora still had my old avatar! Then about a month ago, my avatar changed to the one uploaded much earlier!! It is a weird one.


If I go to the change page now, I get this:

which obviously is not the avatar showing on the left of this message.

Edit to note: This message now looks odd as the avatar changing has been fixed.

I still cannot get my Avatar to change to my selected one from my computer which is in the required size limit. If I click on the Avatar and try to download my own Avatar it just goes back to an Argyle Badge which I think you chose for me.
If I discard the badge I get this S symbol. Even after I select my own Avatar.
It would apear I only have those two choices.
Pleae tell me how I can rectify this. With the old website at least I could download a flag from an option menu.

The S is the default of no avatar and is simply the first letter of your username.

I suggest you leave the club crest as your avatar and don't try to change it just yet.

However, if you'd like E mail me this image you want to use, I'll see what can be done.

The site has a fault at the moment which is perplexing the programmers.

All done now, any avatar can be changed for what you want.
