Bit of a bonus to see Argyle v Sheffield United on ITV4s ‘Big Match Revisited’ tonight. A 4-1 win on a VERY dodgy looking pitch but how nice to see us in proper Emerald green

I would say the green blends in with the grass but there isn't any bloody grass!

Last game of the 1979-80 season, so early May - understandably threadbare after a long campaign.

Its defo that episode, it’s not one of the main matches and the game was played two weeks previously. It appears in Brian Moore’s letters section about a bloke going to every league ground.
