I think the issue is that Truro were NL South. It’s quite a leap to L1 (with aspirations to Championship).Begs the question how he was overlooked if he was that good playing for Truro. Perhaps his data wasn’t available?
It would have been a risk and a luxury to have signed him, even if we then loaned him to a L2 outfit.
Vale were in L2 when they signed Tolly and begs the question why didn't a L1 team , or higher, sign him from Aldershot?

In the grand scheme of things, ‘Cornwall’ is relatively new. Devon and Cornwall combined used to be Dumnonia. All part of the Dumnonii Celtic peoples. If you’ve ever taken an ancestry test you might find that part of your ethnicity is described as Breton as a consequence.
