Here we go again, a HUGE game against the team holding the rest of the league up.
Two massive games in a matter of days where in realism at this stage of the season is vital we pick up maximum points.
Of course this won't be a walkover and possibly Luton are better then they are showing but they are still bottom.
Ok, Blackburn didn't go well but that's gone now, we have to reset and go again.
Argyle to win this 2-1

Blackburn beat us because they are good team that played on the top of their game on Saturday. Sometimes a defeat is more about the opposition than us and that was I think the case on Saturday. Restricting them to only a handful of chances was a pretty good performance. Wayne Rooney's Plymouth would have probably lost that by a cricket score.

I see no reason in that game why we should not still be confident of getting something at Luton.

We lost to the better team on Saturday but we did not capitulate
Playing a relegation rival who is also on the same mission as us to me makes it a game all about defence
I doubt it will be a goal fest
Probably 1 nil either way
It will be a war of attrition

The Wycombe manager did wonders with that club this year. He showed he has capabilities to galvanise a football club but it's whether he can do this in extreme circumstances, like Reading manager (now at Hull) had shown last season.

Those two managerial appointments just show how every team must fancy survival because of their new appointment.

And ontop of this, Luton don't seem to have bad players either.

Love us to win it. It will be scrappy, but wonder if they have the edge on us in terms of goalscoring options.

I want to be positive, but going to Luton and particularly Kenilworth Rd just fills me with negative thoughts. I promised to never ever set foot in the dump of a ground ever again, but our need and my kids badgering meant i went back on my word.
The common theme for Luton, has been played ok/well but not got the result they deserved. I must admit the few times i've seen them i thought they've looked good, but missed chances and were guilty of making mistakes at crucial times.
Everything says tight, nervy, where one mistake, or one key refereeing decision could decide it. The loser will begin to fear the worst, the winner energised and optimistic.
I suspect clean sheet will be phrase the players are bombarded with over the next few days, that has to be our aim.

1-0 - but not brave enough to say what way!!

Sadly we still haven't won an away league match all season and haven't really looked like doing so.

I'm very worried about this one. Concede first and I fear we lose. We also looked very tired at Blackburn. Will our players have the required energy for such a big/tough away match.

However, win it and it could transform our season.

To summarize: I'm sick with nerves!

This is one to watch from behind the sofa!

I think this is one where we can actually use the home crowd against them. If you can do what we did v Millwall and get onto them quickly, possibly even nab a goal the crowd will turn toxic. Even without the goal, make it messy, make it look like we want it more and result them to nothing and it'll get toxic.

With MM's structure and organisation, we have a good chance here but they looked lethargic against Blackburn, that is my worry.

I made same promise many years ago and so far have stuck to it. Find the whole experience of going to Luton depressing. Millwall in same category
