But we genuinely didn't have a flight as the hanger was filled by a portakabin housing the geeks listening to the towed array. we were super silent so spent our time listening to others. The flights on my many other ships have always been great (well okay) -and served some useful purposes e.g. getting the mail; but the old 'one flight only' (normally to culdrose) was always guaranteed to cause much merriment-last on , first off (apart from the stewards) and not much in between- jealous, you bet!
