Pilgrim and Mrs. Pete returned home yesterday after a pre-season tour of some of the country's premier seaside holiday resorts, finishing with Torquay. The converted Green Goddess camper van had clocked up a fair few miles but it would have been more if Mrs Pete had had her way but it was Pete himself who had the last word on the itinerary. He tried to console her with a large rum and ginger, having put her favourite Simon and Garfunkle track on the aging record player but it only seemed to make things worse.
