This portrays what a level headed, sensible and committed young man he is.

A great guy, with a lovely family.

They lowered expectations a couple of days ago after we over-hyped the video.

In my opinion the club didn’t overhype it, but some fans did. It was a bit obvious it was about Randell and his journey but some fans thought it was about investment etc

Well the last couple of years have been pretty uneventful at Home Park, so the thought of finally getting something to be excited about was too much.*

No, if they caused their potential viewers to expect more than it was, they overhyped it, albeit inadvertently. As you say they realised their mistake and corrected.

Edited - now watched and has a proper full tv programme production quality about it different from what they have produced previously so I understand why they were trailing it as something new and exciting, just needed to be clearer it was at tv show not a major announcement which I am sure they will be in the future

SWTT the way it was trailed was a (small) error (even using the anticipatory eyes which they have previously used to trail incoming transfers) that they quickly corrected. I am not knocking the programme itself which I thought was excellent as above.

I was hoping it was Adam modelling various £11 hats in the superstore and explaining how the £1.50 charge works.

Sadly, it was just a documentary about less important things, like his rise into the first team

Really enjoyed that, great insight into the path to the first team too.

Seems a bit off sometimes to say someone seems well brought up, as you can obviously be a very decent person with a tough upbringing, but he obviously has wonderful parents.
