Which got me wondering - who would buy stickers if hypothetically Argyle were to launch such a book?

I thought the club was handing out collectible stickers at home games this season. I think you can go to a collection point before each game and get one of a number of stickers and that there are four(?) different sheets that the different stickers can be collected on. Or did I imagine this?!

I can't comment - I haven't had the opportunity to go to a home game for a couple of seasons

Correct. Its a piece of paper(Maybe A3 in size?) with the fixtures on and then at each game a round sticker is handed out at points around the ground to stick into a predetermined space. Good idea for kids to keep them engaged.. No players faces etc are on it though that I seen at a brief glance..

I stood close to one of the collection points prior to the Barnsley game, and this was very popular. Saw lots of mums and dad’s coming to collect them from the kiosk for their kids. This is no way a scientific measurement but for the 20 minutes or so I was there they were especially popular with girls, which is good to see. And I noticed after the game several kids went to the same collection point.
