Hello Pasoti Peeps welcome to the 50/50 brief. Well the great run has come to an end, the lads have done brilliantly to play as many games as they have undefeated. Nearly 3,000 Argyle fans attended the Charlton game - what fantastic support from the Green Army. With players now coming back from injuries we are almost a full squad again, so great news for the gaffer with more options available for the run up to Christmas with the games coming thick and fast.
As you know we always like the prizes to get claimed in the 50/50 draw, and it certainly was a happy day for one supporter recently. Garfield Gubbin a well known funeral director based in the Launceston area, only went and won the iconic pies donated by Passion for Pie. Garfield told me he has supported the Greens since 1963 when he first watched the team play Cardiff in a match on Boxing Day. The Greens won the game 4-2 after coming back from 2-0 down and the game was played in a snowstorm. After watching that match Garfield was hooked and became a true Green, his favourite players were Paul Mariner and Billy Rafferty – a good choice. Garfield is a Pioneer season ticket holder at Argyle and on a final note he told me the pies were delicious and he reckons everyone should try them.
The prizes for Saturday are:-
First prize – Cash prize (will be a whopper)!!
Second prize – A pair of match tickets including a pre match meal together with extras in the Tribute Lounge for the Wimbledon match on 1/1/2022
Third prize – An 8 pack of pies from Passion for Pie (including free delivery anywhere in UKmainland)
Fourth prize – An MOT voucher donated by Specialist Vehicles-Plympton.
Thanks for supporting the 50/50 lottery and remember - you have to be in it to win it.
Uncle Ken and the gang.
