Away to Spennymoor in the far North East!

This will be the third "National" team that Parkway have drawn, all of them 2 leagues above Parkway.

Will Parkway receive financial assistance for this trip? You'd think an overnight stay will be needed given the distance, if that's the case then it could end up costing them a lot of money.

I doubt Spennymoor will be keen on the idea of a replay which could make things interesting.

I’m pretty sure it would go straight to penalties. Ironically Parkway travelled all the way to Hebburn too the other year! Hopefully they’ll have a good night out after the game either way.

I went to Dawlish v Gresley in the FA Trophy a few years ago. It got called off in the 110th minute due to a waterlogged pitch which seemed to have been fine for the other 110 minutes.
Common sense doesn't always come into it for the FA Trophy!

A replay was played due to the game being abandoned in extra time.

There’s a lengthy FA document that explains what travelling clubs can and can’t claim. If I could find a link I’d share it but it buried deep in the FA filing system…which might go some way to get explain what they think of grassroots football maybe 🤷‍♂️

Games in the Torphy are settled on the day owing to the situation in the world at minute. Straight to pens after 90, as Parkway successfully did against Dulwich Hamlet

Parkway are no strangers to that part of the world in national competitions either, there’s some unfinished business shall we say
