Paul McCartney - Maybe I'm Amazed
Roberta Flack - The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face
John Denver - Annie's Song
Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine
Harry Nilsson - Without You (I know it's a Badfinger track, but Harry's was better).

Actually, listening to a couple of them again to remind myself, that Flamingos track is an absolute belter - doo wop really doesn't get much better than that.

Love the Al Green & Bill Withers ones and the Roberta Flack one most of all. Have you ever heard Johnny Cash's version of 'The First Time' ? I almost love it as much as Roberta Flacks.

8 July Morning - Uriah Heep (this one even has the word 'love' in the lyrics )
9 Kites - Simon Dupree and the Big Sound (they went on to become Gentle Giant. Just so you know...)
10 Just So You Know - American Head Charge (a nice gentle one to finish with).
