Apologies if this has already been posted. GL events appointed as the main contractor.

https://sportsvenuebusiness.com/index.p ... k-stadium/

GL events will implement a series of phased works on the Mayflower Stand at the stadium, the first focusing on enabling works and the installation of a new control room, ticketing office, and a club shop; The Argyle Superstore.

The second phase will see the business construct a new lower terrace, seating, new changing room facility, new corporate hospitality and conference and events spaces, and a completely new roof structure for the stand.

Excellent news. Looks like the stuff required for the new season is being done first, with the bulk of the work on the stand to follow during the season

It does mean that we will still get people saying 'it hasn't started yet' all through the summer

Good spot! I thought it was newsworthy enough to have its own thread so it's split from another thread.

Excellent news! So we should have a new ticket office and club shop ready for the start of the season.

This should mellow down a few of the flat earth brigade. Great news going forward.

So the first "phase" of construction does not include changing rooms, a lower terrace, seating, a new roof structure. We have a main contractor, signed and sealed, :scarf: The second phase does include the above. No time lines.
So still plenty to arm the "anti's".
:sigh:

GET ON WITH IT

It's not the newest of news to be fair.

I would recommend Todd and Co. They’ll make sure we need none of these things. They also do a brilliant magic show. They’ll make £5 million disappear just like that

Apparently not, as the quote from the Managing Director of GL Events is just part of the Pasoti propaganda machine so one person has written!

Just bizarre.

We are all powerful HC.

We also run the Argyle Twitter Account and I'm first in line for the CEO's position.

I would say "It's just the close season" but these people don't have one.
