When I said we'll probably publish a set each weekend, that was before the Wring boys got going on Monday. There are now 50 new photos on GoS. (Warning: it helps if you're a fan of demolition machinery!)

One offshoot of all these photographs is that they show how decrepit it had all become. However, it is "our decrepit" and the area at the back of the stand and the car park held some wonderful memories for me. One man who will be glad to see the back of the car park will be Dave Corbett, our brave little winger from the 60s. In 1962 he injured his knee playing head tennis on the concrete. It never got completely better. I had a chance meeting with him there 50 years later and he could still identify the pothole!!

I still have my 1970's Far Post Quiz Champion trophies on display in my home office, much to my wife disdain!

Having won I then got to represent Argyle and the South West in two National finals, where I discovered my decent knowledge was a drop in the Ocean compared to the quiz fanatics of London and Scotland!

I did however get to represent England versus Scotland in a pre final "International" before the Edinburgh hosted final...so I am a one cap wonder!

A total gentleman by the name of Sam Rendell was my chaperone together with Roy Harding ( I think that was the surname) to London , Edinburgh I think I travelled alone and in the middle of my final degree exams.

Priorities!

I love this, it's just as exciting as a playoff match, with the bonus that we can't lose!

Thanks for the feedback folks, and especially love this one!

Unfortunately no more pics this weekend, there hasn't been much that's new over the last couple of days, but hopefully some more progress to be snapped in the coming week.
